Digital X-Rays

X-rays of your teeth are important for detecting infection and damage that will require dental attention. In some cases, the only way to detect a problem is from an X-ray. We are committed to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available, which is why we use digital X-rays in our office. Digital X-rays save time, provide clearer dental photos and expose patients to much less radiation. Digital X-rays use up to 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays.

Using digital X-ray technology, we are able to take an X-ray of your mouth using a small sensor (instead of film) to record the image of your teeth. This image is then sent to a computer. The result is a highly detailed image of your mouth that can easily be enhanced to better diagnose dental concerns and determine the very best treatment for you.

We also use digital photography to take photographs of your face, teeth and smile to provide us with a permanent dental record and a visual documentation of the treatment.
